Say “Hello” to the new Ford Fusion. With its new three-bar grille, a sharp lower bumper and some nice shapes on the hood and the headlights, I must say that it has caught my eyes. Ford has announced that the engine will come in three different flavors for us to decide from. First there is the all-new Duratec 2.5L four-cylinder with 174 hp and 172 lb-ft of torque. Then we have the current 3.0L V6 on vitamins with 19 more horsies under the hood, for a total of 240 hp and 228 lb-ft of torque. Last but not least, we have the 3.5L V6 with 263 hp and 249 lb-ft of torque. All of these engines will come with Ford’s 6F35 six-speed automatic transmission.

It seems that Ford won’t release the new Fusion with turbocharged or direct-inject EcoBoost powertrains, but the makeover that it got and the engine variations, make it quite an impressive car, at least for me. But then again, for me if a car has four wheels and starts without me having to push it, then it’s the best car in the world.
