Tuner fans meet the new Mercedes McLaren SLR, the Hamann Volcano. It wasn’t enough that the stock model was powerful enough, the people at Hamann decided that all that wasn’t enough. We now have under this baby’s hood 700 hp and 612 lb.-ft. of torque – an increase of 74 hp and 37 lb.-ft., respectively. But that is not all, a new water pump will cool things off when it will all get too hot. This supercar goes from 0 to 60 mph in 3.6 seconds and the top speed is now 9 mph higher, like the speed we got until now wasn’t enough and also useless for the road.
There will also be some carbon fiber to make out the wings and the skirts and also a new hood, diffuser and front spoiler, all to keep these running smooth and cut the air like a hot knife through butter. Me, for one, I am not impressed by these kinds of fast cars, but others are and have the resources to buy them and places to drive them.

Ford just loves to play with us, don’t they? What is this with giving us bits and pieces of the new Mustang? Wouldn’t it have been easier to just give us the full pack of picts at once? It’s not like they will invent the wheel or something, because the last few models of the Mustang didn’t bring too many new things. But then again, I may be just impatient. He he.
I don’t need to explain to you what is in the picture below, as I am sure you can tell that on your own, but what I am going to tell you is that there are three more slots to be unlocked on the 2010 Ford Mustang mini-site and a month until we will see it in bots and screws at the LA Auto Show. Looking forward for that and waiting for the day when I will own my very own Mustang. Over and out!

Say “Hello†to the new Ford Fusion. With its new three-bar grille, a sharp lower bumper and some nice shapes on the hood and the headlights, I must say that it has caught my eyes. Ford has announced that the engine will come in three different flavors for us to decide from. First there is the all-new Duratec 2.5L four-cylinder with 174 hp and 172 lb-ft of torque. Then we have the current 3.0L V6 on vitamins with 19 more horsies under the hood, for a total of 240 hp and 228 lb-ft of torque. Last but not least, we have the 3.5L V6 with 263 hp and 249 lb-ft of torque. All of these engines will come with Ford’s 6F35 six-speed automatic transmission.
It seems that Ford won’t release the new Fusion with turbocharged or direct-inject EcoBoost powertrains, but the makeover that it got and the engine variations, make it quite an impressive car, at least for me. But then again, for me if a car has four wheels and starts without me having to push it, then it’s the best car in the world.

We all know that something worth knowing can’t be kept under the rug for too long. This is the case of the forthcoming Aston Martin One-77, where four images of this beauty have leaked into our hands.
As expected the new car takes the Aston Martin heritage to a new level. It breathes aggression and elegance at the same time. The front of this baby is a very modern old-school Aston Martin approach, while the rear, well that is another story and we hope to see more stories as hot as this car’s behind.
But I can talk for hours about the new Aston Martin One-77, you can form your own opinion by looking at this photo.

Audi, has recently released some official sketches to ease the wait until we will get to see in bolts and screw the cars that are waiting at the startline to be released. First we get the A5 Cabrio, but anyone that has a little bit of immagination can visualise how the A5 will look with a folding soft top. But for all you brain-deads out there, there are some pictures. Second on our list is the A5 Sportback and from the picts we will expect a four-door coupe-looking car. Third on our list is the A7, which is a larger A5 Sportback and with a normal trunk rather than a rear hatch. Last but not least is the A8, which is meant to be as aggressive on the road as it looks in the pictures. What can i say, let’s hope tha t the cars will actually be as good on the road as they look in pictures.

Word on the street is that BMW will be selling licenses of their engines to other car manufacturers. The man in charge with development at BMW, Klaus Draeger, stated that the company he represents is one step to finishing a deal with Mercedes.
We don’t know for sure what engines will be on the list for sell, but one of them will be for sure the new V-12 that will be equipped on the new 7 Series and on the Rolls-Royce sedan. If Mercedes will buy this engine it will most likely throw it under the hood of the S-Class and of the Maybach.
Draeger didn’t even give us a clue about other car manufacturers that approached BMW about their engines, but who knows. If sharing technology between such big rivals was taken by the heads of BMW like any other trade, I guess we will be seeing more of this.

It seems that nowadays spy shots are not what they used to be back in the day. Photographers are not hung up in trees, wearing camo paint all over their faces, waiting for a glimpse of a car to be tested. Now car manufacturers almost call in photographers at the testing site. But enough of this, today we will be talking about some „spy shots†of the all new Nissan 370Z convertible.
But a birdy whispered into our ears that the pictures that flow arround the internet are not the real deal, they are actually make-overs, so we would avoid naming that graphics manipulation software we all know. But we do know for sure that the new Z will have a power-folding soft-top, to drop the price tag and the weight and a new 3.7 liter V6 under the hood. As for other good news, we heard that both 6-speed manual and 7-speed automatic gearboxes will be available since the car walks out of the factories and into the dealers, starting next year after it will be first shown to us un wheels and screws at the New York Auto Show.

While the Golf VI model hasn’t been launched yet, Golf announced that they will present the GTI version at the Paris Auto Show, that will soon begin.
This model will have a TSI engine of 2.0L, with 207HP and does the 0 to 100 km/h in 7.2 seconds. Its maximum speed is 148mph (238 km/h).

A Ford truck that was customized together with Harley Davidson, the F450 is a great looking pick-up with a big engine, a classic American workhorse, that doesn’t care about the pollution norms.
Each of these trucks gets a custom paint job with blue flames, as you can see in the pic, plus a number of other features, such as black leather seats and the Harley logo inside the car.

The new Renault Megane will be officially unveiled at the Paris Motor Show but that’s a whole month away and people are very anxious. That’s why, the Spanish website km77 released a few photos and solved the mystery.
While the inside remains to be discovered, the picture below shows very clearly that the car borrows design elements from both new Laguna and Megane Coupe Concept next month.
Last but not least you should know that the new Renault Megane will be available in the following versions: three-door, convertible, coupe and estate. We’ll keep you posted with more information as soon as Renault will release an official specs list.
