While the 2011 Ford Fiesta is being launched in the United States these days, Ford is considering the future already and its thinking about the 2012 model, which will come in Europe with a new look.

The rumors say that this model, which is sold as a hatchback in Europe, will come with a new front fascia, which will have LED lights, a redrawn front spoiler and a couple of extra options for the car’s interior.

What interests us though, is the fact that it will have new engines from the EcoBoost series. The regular Fiesta will come with a 1.0L engine with three cylinders and 90 HP, while the performance version will get a 1.6L gas engine with 180 HP.

You cannot say „pick-up truck” without thinking about Texas and that’s why fans all around the country will gather two weeks from now at the Texas State Fair.

Especially for this event Ford prepared a great surprise: the official presentation of the 2011 Super-Duty packed with a nasty Scorpion – a 6.7-liter Power-Stroke diesel V8. This new engine will hit mass production in Q2 2010 so until then let’s see what this baby is capable of.

We have no idea about torque or power but we found out about the intake ducting of the inlets that was designed for passive flow control.

Last but not least this baby is the first Ford diesel certified to run on B20 biodiesel.

According to the user’s posts the 2011 Mustang will come running on a 3.7-liter V6 delivering 315 hp. That’s more than the 3.6-liter on the Chevrolet Camaro.

The 2011 GT will hide 400 hp under the hood delivered by a 5.0-liter Coyote V8 matched to a six-speed manual gearbox.

Let’s keep our fingers crossed hoping that all this will be confirmed as soon as possible.

Up until now, the 2010 Taurus SHO and the track didn’t make such a cute couple despite the twin-turbo EcoBoost V6 engine and the 365 hp of the former. But even so, this SHO took the chance in a straight-line foot race at the New England Dragway in Epping, New Hampshire.

The 4,300-pound Taurus ran against a Fox body Mustang and won the race fair and square notching an amazing 13.92 at 100 mph.

Even if MJ Acquisitions is currently facing a lawsuit with Steve Saleen, the new Saleen Performance Vehicles Company just unveiled the first Mustang model under this disputed name.

When it comes to visual changes, the car looks a lot like Racecraft’s 2008 420S Mustang but according to Saleen’s CEO Mike Shield they wanted to introduce an affordable car to the market.

The 435S Mustang features a Saleen Series VI twin-screw supercharger with a 4.6-liter V8 delivering 435 lb-ft of torque and 435 horsepower matched to a 5-speed manual and 3.73:1 gears.

In addition to all that the car runs on a sport-tuned suspension package and 14-inch brakes up front. If that’s simply not enough for your taste you should know that Saleen will also release on the market an Aero Package including Saleen’s graphics. A chin spoiler and rear wing and 18-inch alloy wheels.

For the time being the price is yet to be determined but if the suppositions are correct we should see this car available with a $40,000 price tag.

A makeover is not the only thing that Ford will be giving the new Focus. The engines will be made with the new EcoBoost technology. The smallest engine will be a 1.0 liter turbo four-cylinder that will pull 89 or 108 hp and for bigger engines Ford will throw a new 1.6 liter turbo with 148 and 178 hp of power. There will be also diesel flavored engines, a new 1.6 liter TDCi with 89, 108 or 128 of horsies under the hood, and a 2.0 liter 168 hp or 197 hp.

Ford is planning for the Focus to be a coupe also, but until the launch in 2010, all we are telling you is hear-say.

I don’t need to explain to you what is in the picture below, as I am sure you can tell that on your own, but what I am going to tell you is that there are three more slots to be unlocked on the 2010 Ford Mustang mini-site and a month until we will see it in bots and screws at the LA Auto Show. It seems that Ford won’t release the new Fusion with turbocharged or direct-inject EcoBoost powertrains, but the makeover that it got and the engine variations, make it quite an impressive car, at least for me. But then again, for me if a car has four wheels and starts without me having to push it, then it’s the best car in the world.

Each of these trucks gets a custom paint job with blue flames, as you can see in the pic, plus a number of other features, such as black leather seats and the Harley logo inside the car.
