Even if Chrysler hasn’t made any announcement regarding a new model the folks over there worked very hard and redesigned entirely Caliber’s interior design. For the time being we’ll have to deal with the pictures but they sure point to a beautiful result.

Surprise surprise the inside of the car wasn’t the only one falling under the knife. The European Caliber will be powered by a 2.2-liter diesel engine delivering 163 hp and 236 lb-ft of torque while in US the car will remain faithful to the 2.0- and 2.4-liter gasoline World engines.

If you want to admire closely the car you should start packing because Chrysler is bringing this baby to the Frankfurt Motors Show later this month.

Chrysler recently came out with a prototype of am electric car. Most of the car is Lotus-manufactured. A litle while ago the Dodge EV looked locked and loaded, but it was delayed and it seemed that the plans to launch this baby into production would be thrown under a pile of bigger plans.
The Dodge EV is built on the core of the Lotus Europa, but with lithium batteries and a 268 hp electric motor to replace the 2.0L four cylinder engine and transmission on the standard version of the car. From what we hear, the people there at Dodge want to give this buggy 0-60 time of under 5 seconds. With a 4-hour recharge from a 220V outlet or 8 hours from 110V you should be ready to hit the streets and burn rubber.
Plans are to be released for showrooms by 2010, and who knows when it will be available for us mortals.

Dodge Challenger will receive more power thanks to ProCharger

Maybe the Camaro stole the spotlights in Las Vegas, but Challenger is the choice of many tuners living in the know. Of all, both kits from ProCharger that will be available for all you Challenger owners out there, definitely caught my eye and made me feel all tingly inside. Both have under the hood ProCharger’s P-1SC-1 centrifugal supercharger pushing 6 psi of boost, a 3-core air-to-air intercooler, upgraded fuel system and all necessary tubing and brackets.

But wait, there’s more! Stage 2 will give us more power while pushing the pedal thanks to a dedicated drive system for the supercharger and an upgrade air intake. Go burn some rubber, baby!

A new version of the Dodge Challenger launched

Not everyone is given the task to make a hotrod fit for a gentleman and even less rise up to the challenge. But it seems that George Hurst is not anyone so he made from the body of an already impressive Challenger an even better car.

It seems that the new Challenger will be available in 4 flavors, starting from a 5.7-liter HEMI Challenger to a faster-than-light 6.1-liter supercharged HEMI which can bring on the road 530 hp. Being a fan of muscle and less subtle cars, I can only have wet dreams of riding one of these babies someday.

Mopar revealed their new race car, the 2009 Mopar Drift Dodge Challenger

Dodge has a nice slogan to back them up which sounds something like this "if you can dream it, you can build it with Mopar". When you have a motto like this, you almost believe that the new 2009 Mopar Dodge Drift Challenger is a hit. Mopar team owner, Shaun Carlson and driiver Samuel Hübinette pointed out some of the specs that this baby will have.

Like any man, they first pointed out the horsies that ride under the hood, a total of 850. Another interesting thing is that the car will have on the rear fender, a buil-in line of roller blade wheels to make the car roll along the wall on contact, instead of slowing down and damaging the vehicle. It sounds interesting on paper, but we will have to wait and see how the car will do in real life racing.
